We filmed a wedding recently for our clients Helen and Simon, we even blogged a few of the photos we snapped from the day. They got married in Thornbury and had their reception at Thornbury Castle, which is a really beautiful venue. The sun was out and it was a really beautiful day, Helen was kind enough to send us her thoughts on the service we provided:

From my first initial correspondence with Adam, I had a great feeling I had picked the correct videographers to use. Your pricing is spot on, not lower or higher end and that is a big consideration as weddings cost so much money. Every e-mail we exchanged was pleasant and informative. Our meeting was good as it gave me a chance to meet you both in person and go through any ideas, thoughts etc. I loved the fact that you were both so into music also as a couple of friends videos had 2 songs and it was a very dull in comparison! I was blown away with how great you both were on the day, it wasn't awkward or invasive at all - in fact my guests loves chatting to Marcus! I didn't notice the cameras there, just so discreet, and yet you seemed to still capture everything that was required without me noticing. You both worked so hard on the day to get it right, arriving at the church and castle long before us or any of our guests and I loved the shots of the quietness of it all before we descended on it and caused mayhem! I did feel you went over and above the hours I thought you would have put in and it much such a difference for the film, to see the entire day fold right up until the early evening - it's a long day for you guys but it was really noticed.

The wait to get my film seemed a bit long but to be fair you do warm people at busy times it can take X-amount of weeks. When the proof arrived, I was totally, totally, blown away. It was absolutely perfect, magical and everything I had hoped for. From the flowers blowing in the wind outside the church to the blue sky and the light coming through the church windows - you had caught it all so artistically and beautifully. I loved the way you had picked my songs to go so well with the specific scenes and it was edited so, so well.

The extra bonus for me was some of the fantastic still photos you caught, they were amazing and as the photographer was long gone by that point, if you guys hasn't been there - i would never have got those beautiful pictures of the two of us and me with my daughter which we so stunning and will always be treasured.

I have to say to brides out there - if you can only afford a photographer or a videographer, I would go with the videographer every time as they capture every part of your special day in such intimate detail.

We're really grateful to Helen and Simon for sending us their feedback, we always really value our clients thoughts as it helps future clients with their selection process and it shows what other real people think, not just what we, as the owners, tell you. We are always working to improve our service and we are aware of the delay involved with the wait to see your film (especially during the summer). We are always doing out best to improve the editing time, we always want to produce the highest quality movies and we wouldn't ever want to rush anything. We appreciate our clients patience but we're assured it's worth the wait!

VAT Increase

Just a quick note, and not a very exciting one at that, but we are not affected by the recently VAT increase. Our clients will continue to pay the very same amount that they did before increase.
